Awana Club

We’re thrilled to kick off the very first year of AWANA at First Baptist Church of Kinston—and we can’t wait for your child to be part of it!

AWANA is a high-energy, Christ-centered program designed just for kids. Each week, children will dive into God’s Word, memorize Scripture, build meaningful friendships, and have a blast through interactive games and engaging activities.

The name AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, based on 2 Timothy 2:15. Our mission is simple: to help children know, love, and serve Jesus while building a strong biblical foundation that will guide them for life.

What to Expect Each Wednesday Night (6:00–7:30 PM):

• Game Time – High-energy, team-based games

• Large Group Time – Music, teaching, and encouragement

•  Bible Time – Scripture memory and small group discussion

•  Theme Nights – Special nights with extra fun and creativity throughout the year!

AWANA is open to children ages 2 through 6th grade and follows the Coffee County School Calendar, so we’ll take breaks when school is out.
